I had the pleasure of planning a client’s daughter’s high school graduation celebration. The client had an idea of what she wanted for daughter’s celebration but needed my expertise to bring it to life. The client picked the vendors who fit in her budget, I got the ball rolling on contracts and payment deposits on the client’s behalf.
The client’s daughter was heading to get her bachelor’s degree in teaching so the client made her centerpieces to represent her daughter’s accomplishment of graduating high school and making her way into a teaching career. The décor colors were tiffany blue, burlap, Pokka dots, gerbera white daisy and mason jars. I did two site visits with the client to take measurements and discuss set up placement.
Day of event we set up the backyard area with tables, chairs, linens, and centerpieces underneath the tent, set up the photobooth area, iced down the beverages, set up the specialty tables with décor and special linens. We were the POC for the cater and the sweet treats, as they arrived we assisted them with setting up their display areas.
As the celebration took place, we watched the beverage quantity and restocked them as needed, pulled and picked up trash when needed, restocked the catering area with the extra items the cater left us for replenishment. As guest made their exits we made sure to thank them for coming and double checked they picked up their “Thank you for coming” sweet treat.
Once the festivity was all set and done, we started to breakdown the backyard for the rental vendor to pick up their items, pulled all trash and disposed it properly, cleaned up and packages any of the left-over catering items, consolidated the centerpieces and photobooth props, collected all linens and prepped it to be dropped off at the cleaners.
A few of their vendors were:
