I had the pleasure of planning Hilarie & Jared’s wedding. I have seen this couple grow over the past seven years when I was their high school tutor. They have been high school sweethearts since I could remember meeting them. When they asked me to planner their wedding I was so honored. I quickly was introduced to Hilarie’s parents, who would be helping the couple make some traditional decision about their wedding.
Hilarie and Jared attend OLLU and from then they knew they wanted to get married before God in the OLLU church. Hilarie and her mom really bonded over venue walkthroughs until them came across THE ONE: Magnolia Pancake Haus. Hilarie feel in love with it and called me over to visit with them and the venue coordinator. Once the venue was booked everything started to fall into place.
We started the ceremony at the OLLU church as I welcomed guest into the church. The bridal party looked perfect as I lined them up behind the main doors. Once the flower girls made their way down the aisle, I closed the doors to get Hilarie and her father in placed. Hilarie truly look stunning as her father held back tears, as his baby girl was starting a new chapter in her life. Once the mass was over, I announced on Hilarie and Jared’s behalf that cocktail hour is starting now at Magnolia Pancake Haus.
Guest enjoyed cocktail hour on the back-porch area with light jazz background music. Once the venue was open guest were able to take a seat and bar services started. After dinner, the couple had their first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Almazan. As the night went on, the couple wanted to give their guest a unique sweet treat. Around 10PM as the dancing continued, they opened a “build your own pancake bar”. Guest were so surprised and loved this interactive pancake bar.
