Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Ray Mitchell! Belinda reached out to be about six months before her wedding. She as a little nervous because the only few items that she checked off was the venue, date, and her dress. Everything else she still needed to do. We had our first consultation and she gave me all her color pallets, décor inspirations, and wishes for the wedding. After our meeting I go to work on her wedding detail file which had her all her guest information, budget, decor details, vendor information and a timeline to-do-list to keep up on track.
I first started with design samples for her save the date, wedding invitations, RSVP cards, wedding detail cards and a gift note. Once she picked her design, I work on customizing each card to her wedding details. Belinda worked on getting me all her guest address so I could make her label per guest. Once the invitations where in, I stuffed and tied each one with a purple glitter ribbon bow.
Belinda color pallet was Plum Purple, Silver and bling!! Bling was a very important part of her wedding. With a few photo inspirations, I was able to build the centerpieces and table flatware set up she loved. Belinda’s centerpieces were a Silver/White glitter flat candle plate, a crushed glass round vase, Plum hydrangea, crystal jeweled garland, fairy lights and Crystal jeweled tea light holder. She had Silver glitter charger plates, white napkins with bling napkin holders. The linens were White with Plum Purple runners. Her head table and cake table were so beautiful. Full of Plum Purple linens, bling candles, bling custom flutes and cake cutter.
Since the wedding ceremony was going to be in the same area as the reception she wanted a nice backdrop where they could get married in front of. She showed me a beautiful arch with flowers and I went to work. I made her flower arrangement for the arch and ordered her Purple, Light Purple and Ivory drape.
On the day of the wedding family and guest started to make their way to the venue. I organized the wedding party and Belinda into their places and the wedding ceremony began. Belinda’s sons walked down after Ray and stood as his Best Man, Belinda’s two daughters walk down after as both her Maid of Honor. I placed Belinda around the corner and made sure her gown was perfect as she walked down the aisle with her son-in law. Belinda and Ray’s ceremony was so beautiful and they even had a sand ceremony with the blinding of their families coming together as one.
After the I DO’s family and friends took picture with the bride and the groom. So much laughter and love took place that night. This family loved to dance and they were on the dancefloor all night long. Thank you Belinda and Ray for trusting me and sharing your special moment with me.
