Coco Chanel & El Ray II Wedding

Congratulations to Mr. El Ray II and Mrs. Coco Chanel! I had the pleasure to be part of the very first dog wedding in Bexar County. I meet Coco Chanel at a wedding expo and we connected instantly. Her lovely mama, Mrs. Happy Buttles was such a delight and was needing some help with her daughter’s wedding. Mrs. Happy was planning the wedding on International Dog Day and having the event become more than just the wedding. It would be a full-blown event open to the public with vendors, food trucks, media, music, dog costume contest and then of course the magical wedding to tie it all together.

Coco Chanel’s color palette was gold, royal blue and white. Her wedding party all had custom dresses and bowtie to fit the wedding.

It was an early morning to start the load in process with the vendors and the set-up team for the wedding festivities. As guest started to arrive, they shopped local with the vendors, dined at the food trucks, took pictures in the 360 Photobooth, and watched as the cutest dogs competed in the dog costume contest. Once Elvis took over on the mic and floor, that was our cue to place the wedding party behind the grand entrance doors. Once the wedding party was lined up each one had their own grand entrance through the custom wedding barn doors. El Ray II had on one of the most stylish tuxedo with elegant embellishments on it. Once everyone was set and ready at the altar, it was time for the beautiful bride to make her grand entrance. Coco Chanel came down the aisle with a full white custom wedding gown with tons of graceful embellishments and a long lace vail.

The ceremony took place and each dog barked on the I Do’s. On the Bexar County marriage license, they both printed their dog paw prints. They exited the ceremony to take group photos and had a personal meet and great with the San Antonio Spurs Coyote.

The wedding was so special and everyone had such a great time. Tons of memories were made at the wedding. Thank you, Coco Chanel and El Ray II, for letting me be part of this special moment. Thank you, Mrs. Happy, for trusting me with this wedding and letting me support you all the to the finish line.
